With love and effort, everything is possible.

Our Story

Pashmina Scarves

Art of Spirit supports native cultures of the world by importing and selling their ancestral and traditional arts. Through fair trade practices, it is our intention to positively impact the economic status of these communitie,s thereby re-instilling and maintaining a living investment in our native cultures.

As we honor and celebrate their traditional work, we hope to create a shared enthusiasm, appreciation and understanding of the values and customs represented through these cultural expressions of beauty and art.
It is our hope to generate and broaden understanding in an effort to create a shared vision for our future.

Currently, we carrry collections from Kashmir, India, Peru, Ecuador, and Nepal.  Our collections are not static, rather they are fluid and will change and grow as our relaionships change and go. All work is highly crafted with traditional skills, reflective of the culture from which it comes.  Our marketing approach is through our retail outlet in Doyelstown, PA,  online sales, the occasional ‘Pop up store’,  and other sales events.

Art of Spirit maintains a ‘Love and Effort Fund’ through which we return 1% of all sales back to our communities in the form of health care or education.

Education has always been our intention. Through importing traditional arts we have been able to share ( and educate) each other through trade. We have recently added other platforms for  shared teachings. Please take a look at our Workshops  listing and share with us your comments.
